Here is a little bit about me, Julee Mortensen.
I have been in the Fastener Industry for 43 years. Starting out part time at a small distributor. Then I worked as a Material Manger for the Specials Division at America Socket in Elk Grove. Trying another industry I got a job in the Steel Industry for about 18 months. Having the opportunity to take a Mechanical Engineering Class on materials was really great luck to advance my knowledge in this area. As they say in the Fastener Industry, once it is in your blood you’re a lifer. A career change in to sales was one of the smartest move that I ever made. I worked in manufacturing sales at local fastener manufacturers in the Chicagoland Area.
I decided to open my own Manufacturers Representative Company with the support of my wonderful husband, Dick of 50 years on May 5th.. We have 2 wonderful Sons who with their wives are all teachers and 4 wonderful & precious Grandsons. I am lucky that they live close to us, because "Grandchildren are God's gift for growing old", Also a Big Chicago Blackhawk's Fan. I love Hockey!!! We have gotten 2010,
2013 & 2015 Pictures with the Stanley Cup.
Being born on Friday the 13th & celebrating my 70th Birthday. Being so Lucky & Blessed in life I had to name the Company Lucky 13 Sales.
